The boys are now just shy of turning 3. How that happened I don't know. I guess because our days are so busy trying to fit so much in, the time just slips by. As far as updates go, the boys are not potty trained. However they are in big boy beds and the transition was painless. Mark this space as I may regret typing this:) Aiden is still 100% poop trained and 20% pee trained. We are hoping Andrew is out of diapers before University (fingers crossed....). They become more and more independent and amaze me with their memory for well, just about everything. They still are passionate about all things construction but love to help us cook, draw, play and sing music (I wonder where on earth they would get that from?), build puzzles and of course, shovel:) Snow has replaced the dirt from the summer as they can play with it, in it, around it for hours. Heck, they have made me love it (well, maybe not LOVE, LOVE it) but you know what I mean:) At the same time, the egocentric nature of this age has its 'moments' as they still will get into spats but when needed, we do 'time outs' and if you can believe this, they walk by themselves to our stairs and sit for about a minute, all by themselves. They don't move. It's hilarious. Sometimes I tell them they need to count to 100 so you will here "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,39,100." Then they come back, apologize and carry on with their day.
Anyways, life continues to be busy. This time of year is the hardest as we are REALLY over taking snowsuits on and off, shoveling, scraping the car, dealing with -45 degree weather. However, the boys are healthy, happy and we still marvel at the fact that we have twin boys.
